SA-CL series spinel refractories are characterized by high density, high hardness, and good thermal shock resistance. They can effectively resist molten metal mechanical scouring and chemical corrosion.
The bottom of the electric furnace and the molten pool area are the parts that hold the molten metal, and they need to withstand severe chemical corrosion from the molten metal, overheating and melting damage from the working electrode, and spalling caused by the penetration of the molten metal forming an altered layer. SA-CL series spinel refractories can be used.
